There are many things I can say about the high quality of service I provide to my home seller and home buyer clients, but probably none would be as credible as testimonials from some of my recent clients themselves.
So please take a moment to read the following testimonials. I hope they indicate my experience and integrity, as well as make it clear how much I enjoy helping people with their real estate needs.

“In February of this year, we initiated a plan to sell our home in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota and then to move back to the Twin Cities. Our son, who is a real estate broker and owns an agency in Detroit Lakes, offered to help us find a properly qualified agent in the Cities who could assist us with finding a new home there. He holds the designation of ‘CRS’ (Certified Residential Specialist) which, according to the National Association of Realtors, is the highest professional credential awarded to residential sales agents, managers, and brokers. This designation is achieved only by those who have met the criteria consisting of years of industry experience, formal training, and outstanding sales performance. Currently, only 4% of licensed agents and brokers nationally have earned this credential. He conducted a ‘CRS-to-CRS’ networking search for qualified agents who were very active in the south metro area (the preferred location for our new home) and ultimately selected Bob Elliot of RE/MAX Advisors, located in Burnsville. Our son then formally referred us to Bob and we initially began working with him by phone and e-mail. With his assistance, we developed search criteria (possible locations, price range, single level townhome, amenities, etc.). He arranged to have new MLS property listings which met our search criteria automatically e-mailed to us every morning. During this time, we were in contact with Bob nearly every day trying to ‘narrow the field’ and find the best properties to personally visit. This task was made more difficult due to a lack of suitable property listings on the MLS during this time. From the beginning to the end of March, we made three trips to the Cities to tour prospective homes with Bob. During middle of the month, we listed our Detroit Lakes home with our son and it sold immediately, which then put us under more pressure to find a new home ASAP. By this time, Bob had become quite familiar with what we were looking for in a new home and, during our last home shopping trip at the end of March, he told us about a couple he had met at a recent open house of his. They were currently living in a single level townhome in Prior Lake and were interested in moving to a larger home. Bob told us about this property and asked us if we would be interested in seeing it. We said we would and, since this property wasn’t yet listed for sale, he asked the owners if they would be willing to make their home available for a private showing. They agreed and we visited the home with Bob. Well, it turned out to be exactly what we were looking for. We expressed our interest in buying the home. Bob checked with the owners to verify their interest in selling and he then immediately brokered the sale through the use of ‘dual agency’ (representing both buyer and seller). The deal was done in less than 48 hours and we were able to schedule the closing a day after the closing date for our Detroit Lakes home. – I should add here that, after signing the purchase agreement on this home, Bob then assisted the sellers with purchasing a larger home, also located in Prior Lake. We then immediately proceeded with the mortgage application process. Even though we had excellent credit and had been pre-qualified for the mortgage, we found that the application process had become more complex and tedious due to recent changes and additions to government regulations. As it turns out, prior to becoming a real estate agent, Bob owned a mortgage brokerage company and he has extensive knowledge and expertise regarding mortgage processing regulations, procedures and documents. During the weeks that the mortgage application was going through the underwriting process, Bob was able to monitor the paperwork progress and, on several occasions, he was able to identify mistakes made by the mortgage company and saw to it that the appropriate corrections were made. His assistance proved to be invaluable. We are pleased to say that both of our closings went very well and occurred on the planned dates. We are now settled in and are enjoying both our new home and Prior Lake. Shortly after we moved into our new home, a close relative of ours informed us that they had decided to sell their home in Minnetonka and then purchase a smaller home somewhere in the south metro. We told them about our experience with Bob and, once again, a referral was made. Bob soon listed their home and it sold within about two weeks after it was posted on the MLS. He then assisted them with quickly locating and purchasing a twin home in Rosemount. They, too, are now settled in and are enjoying their new home, thanks to Bob’s assistance. There is absolutely no doubt in our minds that our son made the right call when he referred us to Mr. Elliot. We were very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with him and we would like to offer our thanks and appreciation for all that he has done on our behalf.
